These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern purchases of physical hardcover books made through vinaypasricha.com (the “Site”). By placing an order on the Site, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms apply only to hardcover book orders paid for and fulfilled through the Site. Kindle and other digital editions are sold separately on Amazon (or other platforms named on the Site) and are governed by those platforms’ terms, not by these Terms.

1. Seller

Orders on the Site are sold by Vinay Pasricha, an individual merchant in India.

2. Products and pricing

• The Site offers physical hardcover editions of books by Vinay Pasricha for purchase and delivery within India.
• The current price of the hardcover edition of AI for Business Leaders sold on the Site is ₹1,799 (Indian Rupees) per copy, as shown on the product / buy page at the time of order. Other hardcover titles, if offered for direct sale on the Site, will show their own prices on their product pages.
• Prices are displayed in INR. Applicable taxes (if any) will be shown at checkout or on the invoice as required by law.
• Kindle and other digital editions are not sold through the Site’s checkout. Links to Amazon (or other retailers) are for convenience only; those purchases are between you and the retailer.

3. Eligibility and acceptance of orders

• You must provide accurate name, phone, email, and delivery address details.
• We may refuse or cancel an order if payment fails, the delivery address is outside India, stock is unavailable, fraud is suspected, or information you provided is incomplete or inaccurate. If we cancel after payment has been captured, we will refund you under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

4. Payment

• Payment is collected through the payment gateway shown at checkout (Cashfree Payments or any successor gateway named on the Site).
• An order is confirmed for fulfilment only after the payment gateway reports a successful payment (or after we confirm payment by the process described on the buy page, if a payment link is used).
• You are responsible for ensuring that the payment instrument you use is authorised and has sufficient funds or limit.

5. Shipping and delivery

Shipping, delivery timelines, and India-only fulfilment are described in the Shipping and Delivery Policy. In brief: hardcovers ordered through the Site are shipped within India only by Vinay’s own team (or carriers engaged by that team).

6. Refunds, cancellations, and returns

Refunds, cancellations, and returns are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

7. Intellectual property

Book content, cover designs, trademarks, site design, and related materials remain the property of Vinay Pasricha or the respective rights holders. Purchase of a hardcover gives you a physical copy for personal use. It does not transfer copyright, or any right to reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works of the book’s content, except as allowed by applicable law (for example, fair dealing provisions).

8. Use of the Site

You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law:

• The Site and books are provided for informational and educational purposes. They do not constitute professional, legal, financial, or investment advice.
• Our liability arising from a hardcover order is limited to the amount you paid for that order through the Site.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law (including consumer-protection law).

10. Privacy

How we collect and use personal data for orders and site use is described in the Privacy Policy at /privacy. By ordering, you also agree to the processing described there (as updated for order and payment data).

We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and to resolve them within 15 working days where reasonably possible.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the Site or placement of a new order after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms for that use or order.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Noida, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights you have as a consumer under Indian law.
